Smokey hamburger

Barbecue Sauce

  • 3 large hamburger buns
  • 4 tablespoons of Oliehoorn barbecue sauce
  • Couple of lettuce leaves
  • 4 beef burgers
  • 4 slices of cheddar
  • 8 slices of fried bacon

  • 1Bakethe burgers until cooked in a pan or on the grill.
  • 2Placea slice of cheese on each burger, allowing it to melt.
  • 3Bakethe bacon crispy in a dry skillet.
  • 4Cutthe hamburger buns open and toast the halves briefly in a dry pan or oven.
  • 5Breadthe bottom half of the sandwiches with barbecue sauce.
  • 6Placea few lettuce leaves on top of the sauce.
  • 7Placethe first burger with cheese on the lettuce on both buns.
  • 8Distributesome fried bacon over the burgers.
  • 9Placethe middle part of the buns on top.
  • 10Andwrap just like the bottom part.
  • 11Pressthe buns gently closed and insert a skewer, if necessary, to hold everything together.

Smokey fried chicken wings

Barbecue Sauce

  • 500 g chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons of BBQ seasoning
  • 100 ml buttermilk
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

  • 1Marinatethe chicken wings for at least 1 hour (longer will do) with the BBQ seasoning and buttermilk for tenderness.
  • 2Mixthe flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • 3Takethe marinated chicken wings through the seasoned flour. Press well so that the layer stays firmly in place.
  • 4Heatthe oil to 170-180 °C.
  • 5Frythe chicken wings in portions for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked.
  • 6Drainon paper towels.
  • 7Serveimmediately with additional BBQ sauce for dipping.
