Curry sauce

  • 500 grams of potato
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion
  • 60 grams of grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pepper
  • 25 grams of butter or 25 ml of olive oil
  • Oliehoorn-curry sauce

    Peel and grate the potatoes. Also grate the onion.

    Put the potato and onion in a bowl. Add the egg, cheese and smoked paprika. Season with a little pepper.

    Fold everything together well.

    Put a frying pan on the stove and heat the butter or oil. Spoon the rösti mixture into the pan and press down well.

    Fry the rösti for 10 minutes over medium-high heat and with the lid on the pan. Then carefully turn it over using a large plate.

    Then fry the other side for 10 minutes on medium-high heat with the lid on the pan. Make sure the rösti does not get too dark.

    Then slide it onto a large plate and cut into pieces. Serve with curry.
