Gourmet Grilled Vegetable Skewers with Sweet Chili Chipotle Sauce

- 1 sliced zucchini
- 1 diced red bell bell pepper
- 1 diced yellow bell bell pepper
- 12 red onion in wedges
- 200 g mushrooms whole or halved
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- Olive oil for sprinkling
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100 ml Oliehoorn Sweet Chili Chipotle Sauce

Cut the zucchini into about 1 cm slices, the peppers into cubes and the red onion into wedges.

If using small mushrooms, leave them whole; if too large, cut them in half.

Thread the vegetables onto the skewers in the order you like. A good order might be zucchini slice, mushroom, cube of bell bell pepper, cherry tomato and a wedge of onion. Repeat until the skewers are full.

Place the grilled vegetable skewers in a bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil.

Pour the Sweet Chili Chipotle sauce over the skewers, making sure they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 15-30 minutes so that the flavors can be well absorbed.

Heat the gourmet plate and lightly grease it with a little olive oil.

Grill the marinated vegetable skewers on the gourmet plate. Turn them frequently so that they are nicely grilled on all sides.

Grill the skewers until the vegetables are tender and have a nice grill mark (about 8-10 minutes).
