Mini meatballs with extra spicy curry sauce
Instructions(4)
- 1Addminced meat, mustard, curry powder, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix well.
- 2Draw12 small balls of it (about the size of a walnut).
- 3Dropsome oil on the plate or in a pan and fry the balls for 6-8 minutes all around until brown and cooked.
- 4Serveit with the Oliehoorn Curry Sauce Extra Spicy.
Spring rolls with shrimp, lettuce and sweet and sour curry sauce dip
Ingredients (9)
- 6 rice sheets
- 12 large shrimp, peeled and cooked
- 2 hands mixed lettuce e.g. little gem, romaine or corn salad
- ½ carrot, in thin strips
- ¼ cucumber, in thin strips
- 6 sprigs of fresh mint leaves
- 2 sprigs of cilantro
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons Oliehoorn Curry sauce sweet and sour
Instructions(10)
- 1Cutthe vegetables into thin strips and prepare them in separate trays.
- 2Filla large bowl or shallow dish with lukewarm water.
- 3Soakone rice sheet for 5-10 seconds until it becomes smooth (not too long, it will become sticky).
- 4Placea sheet on a clean, damp tea towel.
- 5Inthe center of the rice sheet, place a few lettuce leaves, some carrot, cucumber, mint and 2 shrimp.
- 6Sprinklesome sesame seeds on top.
- 7Foldin the sides first, then roll up from bottom to top to form a firm roll.
- 8Repeatwith the rest of the ingredients.
- 9Cutthe spring rolls in half if necessary for a nice effect.
- 10Serveit with the sweet and sour curry sauce and possibly some extra sesame seeds, fresh mint or cilantro as garnish.
