Vegetarian Double Cheeseburger with Brander
A seriously satisfying veggie burger with double patties, melted cheese, crisp vegetables and the bold, savoury kick of Oliehoorn Brander Mayonnaise. Hearty, creamy and full of flavour.

Ingredients (12)
- 4 vegetarian burger patties
- 2 wholemeal burger buns
- 4 slices of young Gouda or Cheddar
- 2 tbsp Oliehoorn Brander Mayonnaise
- 100 g lamb’s lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 100 g white cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 carrot, coarsely grated
- 1 spring onion, finely sliced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Freshly ground black pepper

Mix the white cabbage, carrot, spring onion, lemon juice and freshly ground black pepper in a bowl to make the slaw.

Cook the vegetarian burger patties according to the instructions on the pack.

In the final minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.

Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast the cut sides until golden brown.

Spread both halves with Oliehoorn Brander Mayonnaise.

Top the bottom halves with lamb’s lettuce, then add two patties with melted cheese to each bun.

Layer over the tomato and cucumber slices, then add a spoonful of slaw.

Finish with the top half of the bun and serve with the remaining slaw on the side.
