Tone of voice

Rules of writing:

The Oilhorn Tone of Voice is:

informal, enthusiastic, personal and friendly, with a touch of humor here and there.

Ye form:

The spelling for our brand is informal and therefore all communication is written in you form. Thus, we never use U/your.

'Us' vs 'We':

In our texts, we mainly use 'we' instead of 'us'. The rule here is that for stand-alone sentences or texts where the emphasis is on Oliehoorn, we always use 'we'. When this is not the case, 'we' is tolerated.

'You' vs 'your':

In our texts, we mainly use "your" instead of "you.
The rule in this is that we use 'you' only in cases of extra emphasis.

YES: New! The very tastiest sauce, from Oliehoorn. Have you tasted it yet?
